Palouse Tables Project plan includes a series of Community Meetings spread throughout the region. These events use an approach called Appreciative Inquiry to bring out the best of what is already ongoing in each community. Then, around a meal, we discuss our dreams and visions for what our ideal is for food. Finally, we take the best of what is, the dreams we collect, and start to plan! This can include identifying needs, brainstorming partners, and figuring out how to connect people better together to design these solutions. We will be identifying members of each community to stay connected to review our final community food assessment, as well as to stay in the loop for future projects and activities. We have already scheduled meetings, so find the closest one to you and come along to participate.
The schedule is listed below. Lastly, we still have several open spots–if you want us to hold a meeting in your community, contact us at joea@cacwhitman.org or palousetablesproject@gmail.com today!
