Pullman Mayor Glenn Johnson, Community Action Center’s Board Vice Chair this year, made some connections with Washington State officials, including the Governor and Director of Department of Commerce, Brian Bonlender (left in photo), on June 13th in Pullman.

Along with other city-related matters, Mayor Johnson was able to share with Bonlender, a WSU alum, about the impact of Community Action in Whitman County, which falls under Commerce oversight, including the innovation of theFood Rescue program of Community Food.
