Mobile Farm Stand

Fresh Affordable Food for All…

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to eat fresh, local produce! Over 6,000 individuals are served each year from the Community Food Bank, and we try to source as much produce as we can from gardens, hydroponics, and local farms. And now we are bringing good food to rural areas and food deserts with the Mobile Farm Stand.

The Farm Stand operates on a “pay-what-you-can” model, serving everyone in a community, from those experiencing food insecurity to those who can gladly pay for good food in their communities. Some customers pay higher prices as a donation to help cover food costs for those lower incomes who pay less.

So far, the Farm Stand has offered over 36 types of produce, including kale, beets, arugula, chard, shallots, mint, rhubarb, apples, and cucumbers. Local farms provide the produce, including WSU Organic Farms and Colton Community Gardens.
