Zoning in Pullman affects housing policy and progress

An important Palouse Regional Housing Assessment was completed by Thomas P. Miller & Associates (TPMA) in September 2019. The full report can be downloaded from the Partnership for Economic Prosperity’s (PEP) website here.

One of the key strategies includes the creation of a Palouse Regional Housing Leadership Team (PRHLT), being recruited now! The deadline for applications is January 31, 2020.

The intention is to create a team that equitably represents every region and population group in the region. Though this list is not exhaustive, this means that the team will necessarily contain residents from both states, both urban and rural areas, and those concerned with serving various income-levels.

Those interested in becoming a member of the PRHLT must acknowledge that this service will be provided in a way that benefits the entire Palouse community, and not any exclusive private commercial interests.
